Great Lakes Landscape Design was established in 1989 by Ivan Katz and over the last 20 years has evolved into an award winning custom design build firm. As you navigate our site you will see the full scope of services that we offer. Our unique ability is our keen eye for design, craftsmanship, comprehensive execution and attention to detail in maintaining the projects integrity. Our staff of professionals has been team members from 3 to 12 years, consisting of masons, landscape construction experts, maintenance & horticultural specialists that all work together to help provide a high end product that is client specific. We strive to manage our client’s needs providing them with creative solutions for their outdoors from design & conception all the way through to installation and follow up maintenance.

At Great Lakes we have a “green” attitude where we recycle, compost and provide our environment with constant attention to keeping it healthy. We pride ourselves in minimizing our waste and the ability to turning it into something productive.

As a member of the Michigan Green Industry Association and its Board of Directors, Ivan and his staff are dedicated to ongoing education. We are constantly seeking new and creative ways to meet all our clients’ outdoor needs.
