Bed maintenance is a general maintenance of your planting beds; basic weeding, dividing of any perennials as needed, pinching any flowers back after blooming occurs and maintain a defined edge between the lawn space and beds. This can include repairing edging materials that have heaved out of the ground do to our freez thaw conditions.
Bed Maintenance can be done as often as the client requests; from every other week, one a month to twice a season. How often the landscape gets maintained all depends on what type of landscape the homeowner has along with how mature the planting beds are. More formal gardens will require more attention then an informal one due to the need for a more manicured look. A more natural looking and mature garden has plants that have filled in leaving little space for weeds to grow giving the homeowner more time to enjoy their garden instead of working in it.
