At Great Lakes Landscape Design we offer you a wealth of industry knowledge & field installation savvy with over 35 years combined experience from the design team of Ivan Katz & Jeremy Locke. Working together allows for a fresh flow of creative ideas and two distinct strengths of disciplines.

As a combined effort we work on your project, developing new ideas and concepts specifically for your needs. Ivan uses his expertise in site development with a focus on design foundation & usage, while Jeremy uses his degree in horticulture & design to bring clients planting concepts using texture, color and sustainability. Combining these two strengths forces us to challenge each other and keep a fresh perspective for each client as we try to create unique environments for all of our clients.

When we meet with you and go over your needs, your likes, dislikes and what you are looking for, we start the design thought process. After retrieving all the information required to develop a plan that fits you, we photograph your site, make an inventory list of any reusable materials (if requested by client), take any measurements that will aid us in coming up with a concept to match your needs and start to develop a general concept diagram that will be used to construct your plan.
